UC Invest are providing ongoing support to Clayton Church Homes, with the latest endeavour being a $4.5 million loan towards the recent re-development of the Clayton Church Homes facility at Prospect due to be completed late July 2017.
The redevelopment will include a state of the art friendly environment providing privacy and modern comfort for each of its 60 residents. It also provides a new car park at the entrance to Prospect Oval contributed to by the Prospect Council. The building will include a new Head Office and Administration of Clayton Church Homes which will accommodate approximately 30 staff at any given time. This includes Clinical staff working in shifts, administration and hotel staff.
The development will include double rooms being converted into single rooms and 9 new rooms constructed enabling all residents to now have single rooms with ensuites. Residents will now enjoy more comforts, privacy and modern multipoint electronic beds. All pre-existing rooms and common areas have had a facelift with new furniture, flooring and paintings.
Elizabeth, whose mother is a resident, praised Clayton Church Homes in “providing a new single room for mum as she has been sharing with another resident since her arrival late last year.”
