Manager's MessageLooking Ahead with ConfidenceIt's hard to believe that we're already three months into 2010. In stark contrast to the tumultuous events and financial 'mood' of the past year, an optimism - cautious as it may be - seems to have gripped the UC Invest team. The first half of last year was particularly unkind as financial markets spluttered from the global meltdown. It's fair to say our 2009 results won't from part of the UC Invest highlights reel - even though we had a respectable operating profit of $1.1 million. Our financial contributions were limited during the Global Financial Crisis, but our vision and focus remain unchanged - to provide significant financial contributions to fund the mission and ministry of the Uniting Church in South Australia. Our Board and staff have worked hard to ensure that UC Invest remains a viable and relevant entity in the life of the Uniting Church for many years to come. We're already starting to see the benefits from our diligence; 2010 is shaping up to be a much more successful year. Ultimately, it's only through the trust and support of our investors that we can make a significant contribution to the life of the Uniting Church in South Australia. We would like to thank each of you for your continued support through what has been a very difficult period in financial markets. We are committed to becoming the preferred financial services provider for the Uniting Church SA community and contribute significantly to the life and work of the Church. We have provided millions of dollars in previous years - we look forward to providing many more millions in the years ahead. As a group we are always seeking to provide our investors with better products and services and would welcome any feedback that you may have regarding our operation at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
