UC Invest is proud to support the development of current and future leaders through the Fearless Leader Conference, held in May 2018, and Fearless Youth Conference to be held in July 2018.
Following the success of the inaugural Conference in 2017, attended by 200 delegates, the 2018 Conference has been split into two events; the Fearless Leader Conference which focussed on developing leaders within small to medium sized churches, and the Fearless Youth Conference which aims to nurture and develop skills that will help youth delegates mature into passionate and strong members of our Community. Journey UC expects over 230 delegates to attend both events, with the new format allowing for an expanded agenda and additional sessions.
The Fearless Leaders Conference was held from May 18-19 2018, and was attended by 130 delegates from South Australias metropolitan and rural Church communities. The event highlights included keynote addresses by Pastors Sam DiMauro and Katie Iles, who guided the attendees in building their leadership skills.
The Fearless Youth Conference will be held mid July 2018 and one hundred youth are expected to attend the event entitled Kingdom Love. It will feature an emphasis on evangelism and social justice to equip young people for mission. With addresses from Pastor Sam Long from Murray Bridge, Pastor Katie Iles from Journey UC, Pastor David Helyard, SA Director of Compassion International and Tim Reid from Open Doors, plus the Journey Worship team, the Conference is set to be an outstanding event.
We are proud to continue our support of young people in developing their leadership skills to better serve their community.
