UC Invest were proud to sponsor a table at the recent Not another charity event in July.
An initiative by UnitingCare Wesley Bowden (UCWB), the Not another charity event provides an opportunity for the wider community to show appreciation to Carers who work tirelessly supporting those in need in our community.
The celebratory event puts Carers in the spotlight and gives them some time out from their busy and demanding lives. UCWB supports more than 15,000 carers who are often on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The event was a great success thanks to the fabulous Semaphore Palais Hotel venue. Carers were treated to a beautiful lunch and enjoyed the company and conversation of other carers. Many were delighted at being waited on by some of Adelaides top executives including UC Invest Manager Paul Barnett. The Matuezi Acoustic Duo serenaded guests as they enjoyed their meal.

It was a wonderful day and was humbling to see the pleasure and joy the Carers received from a day out.
