Skills and experience

Peter currently serves as Executive Officer Resources, overseeing the Resources Ministry Centre of over 100 staff within the Uniting Church SA which includes investment, human resources, information technology, finance, property, insurance, WHS and Uniting Venues SA.

Peter’s achievements in this role include oversight of the Mission and Service Fund including negotiating and achieving a balanced operating budget, development and management of capital budgets for major building projects, establishment of IT&T team, the Risk Management Committee and the WHS function in the church, and initiated and managed a change to the Uniting Church in Australia Property Trust (S.A.) 1976-77 Act and developed financial plans for the restructuring of the Uniting Church Synod and Presbyteries.

What do you like the best about your role with UC Invest?

I feel privileged to be a part of the Uniting Church Investment Committee, working alongside its members who serve with dedication and energy. The committee share their extensive expertise generously and with good will.

True humility is not thinking less of yourself. It's thinking of yourself less.
